About Us
NAKUL DEV
FESTIVAL DIRECTOR
The Global Film Festival for Earth & Environment (GFFEE) is an international platform dedicated to bringing together cinema, environmental awareness, and meaningful dialogue for a more sustainable future.
We believe that film is not only a form of artistic expression—it is also a powerful way to observe the world, question our relationship with nature, understand environmental challenges, and inspire collective action. Through the language of cinema, GFFEE seeks to connect filmmakers, environmentalists, researchers, educators, communities, policymakers, and audiences around stories that matter.
From climate change and biodiversity to forests, wildlife, water, pollution, sustainable living, indigenous knowledge, environmental justice, and the changing relationship between human beings and the natural world, the festival provides a space for diverse perspectives and experiences.
Vision
Our vision is to build a globally respected platform where cinema becomes a bridge between environmental knowledge and human experience.
The Global Film Festival for Earth & Environment (GFFEE) is committed to using the power of cinema to deepen understanding of our planet and inspire a more responsible relationship between people and the natural world.
Mission
Our mission is to provide an international platform for filmmakers, environmental thinkers, scientists, educators, communities, and audiences to come together through meaningful environmental storytelling.
We seek to discover, showcase, and celebrate films that explore the complex relationship between humanity and the Earth—from climate change, biodiversity, forests, wildlife, water, and pollution to environmental justice, sustainable development, indigenous knowledge, and the changing landscapes of our world.
Festival Overview
The Global Film Festival for Earth & Environment (GFFEE) brings together filmmakers, environmentalists, scientists, educators, communities, and audiences through the universal language of cinema.
The festival presents a curated selection of feature films, documentaries, short films, animation, student films, and experimental works exploring the relationship between people and the natural world.
Beyond screenings, GFFEE features filmmaker interactions, Q&A sessions, panel discussions, masterclasses, workshops, exhibitions, special screenings, and environmental dialogues designed to encourage learning, collaboration, and meaningful exchange.
For filmmakers, GFFEE offers an opportunity to showcase their work, connect with international peers, engage with audiences and experts, and become part of a wider conversation on the environmental challenges and possibilities shaping our future.
Through cinema, GFFEE seeks to transform stories into awareness, awareness into dialogue, and dialogue into positive action.
